Bio

ALYSSA MARIE:

My mom used to always remind me that she was the queen of her castle. Now, I'm the queen of mine; literally and figuratively. I'm 21 years old, a wife, and homeowner. I also attend college full-time and waitress part-time. I married my best friend in 2006 after dating for almost 2 years. He happens to be in the Navy. I figure, the military regulates so much of our lives as is, I'm not going to let us define us, too. This year, we bought our first home here in San Diego. I'm from San Diego and if we could, I'd live here the rest of my life. As it stands now, we'll--or atleast I will-- be here long enough for me to finish my two majors: Spanish and Chicano Studies. In general, this is my life. I guess I'm not a typical 20 year old college student.
